2. Move – After finding the said place, you should knock the jar on a hard and stable surface. It can be, for example, a wooden board or a kitchen countertop. Let’s pay attention, however, that this is an equal place that will not damage the nut and the jar. After choosing the surface, we grab the jar into one hand and gently tap the edge on the surface. We make even and short knocks, moving the jar to evenly spread the impacts around the nut.
3. Try to open a jar – Usually, about 5 knocks are enough for the seal to start. Then it’s worth trying to unscrew the nut. It should go much easier than before. However, if it did nothing, let’s repeat the whole process again.
