Hundreds of current and former employees of public health authorities in the US on Wednesday accused the Minister of Health Robert F. Kennedy that they are at risk of spreading false information. Informed AFP, writes TASR.

An open letter with criticism to the address of Minister Kennedy, the well -known opponent of vaccination, was published two weeks after the armed attack on the headquarters of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta. The perpetrator of the attack was a man who attributed his current health problems against Covid-19 vaccine. The attack on the CDC took place on August 8 and claimed the life of one cop.
The signatories of the open letter reported that This attack “was not random”. They also pointed out the “growing distrust of public institutions supported by a politicized rhetoric that The professionals in the field of public health has made a target of defamation and now even violence.“
AFP’s news agency also added that The open letter of Kennedy is linked to previous similar texts of federal employees criticizing the steps of US President Donald Trump’s administration. Many of the signatories signed this letter anonymously due to the experience of at least 140 environmental protection employees (EPA), who publicly opposed the current administration and were subsequently temporarily suspended.
