Frank Caprio, known worldwide as “the most friendly judge in the world,” died at the age of 88. He had fought a cancer in the pancreas since 2023, a battle that he shared openly with his more than three million followers on Instagram. It was the family who confirmed the news, leaving a special request to fans: that honor their memory spreading acts of kindness.
Caprio gained notoriety through the American program “Caucho in Providence”, where his court decisions, full of humanity, compassion and humor, gained millions of views. It became a symbol of empathy, showing that justice can also be done with heart.
In interviews, he even stated that the cases passing through the court reflected the difficulties and problems faced by so many people in the country, becoming a kind of real-life mirror.
In his farewell, he leaves his life mate, Joyce Caprio, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage, five children, seven grandchildren and two great -grandchildren.
