SAO PAULO (Reuters) – IFood and Mottu motorcycle rental platform have a partnership to facilitate motorcycle rental access throughout Brazil and allow the growth of both companies to be accelerated.
Through the partnership, announced on Thursday, delivery linked to both companies will have facilitated access to economic motorcycles, with up to 20% discount on the security and different conditions to start or renew the contract from September.

Depending on the volume of deliveries, deliveries who work on both platforms can receive extra revenue of up to $ 350 per month.
According to Thiago Viana, IFOOD’s senior innovation director, the initiative will “accelerate the expansion of the delivery base and reduce retention costs”.
A year ago, IFOOD had about 310,000 deliveryrs in Brazil and now has about 450,000, and is therefore fundamental for the company the continuous increase of this base, said Viana.

Mottu almost doubled in size in a year. About 12 months ago, the company accounted for around 70,000 rented motorcycles in the country, and today has about 130,000.
According to Trajano Rocha, the company’s chief financial officer, the long -term goal is to reach 1 million motorcycles.
