State Representative Guto Zacarias () resigned on Wednesday (20) as deputy government leader in the Legislative Assembly of.
He justified the decision for being bothered by government projects to increase salaries and create positions for the judiciary and the State Prosecutor’s Office.
Zacarias, linked to (Free Brazil Movement), said, however, that he will not join the opposition to Tarcisio.
“The population did not elect Governor Tarcisio to increase elite privileges,” he said in a speech at the Assembly’s podium.
The parliamentarian said he talked three times with Tarcisio about his dissatisfaction with projects that create “privileges” for the elite of functionalism, but there was no result.
He cited in his speech, for example, a project sent in June 2025 to create 1,300 positions for the Court. “People who already earn more than $ 30,000 have had their salaries turbocharged,” he said.
He regretted that the “synergy” between MBL and Tarcísio no longer exists and attributed the end of the partnership to the governor’s presidential project.
“There was a synergy, not for the sake of Bolsonaro or Lula, but by the state of Sao Paulo, for the economy, for security. But unfortunately, since Tarcisio decided to be a candidate for the presidency of the Republic, he is going in a line of signs, nods and even improving the salary conditions of an elite to support him, and I can not be part of it.”
