According to a statement by the Turkish Presidency, Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Russian counterpart that “he is closely monitoring developments in the peace process, that Turkey is making honest efforts from the beginning of the war to achieve a fair peace and that they are in favor of the peace.”
The Russian president, for his part, referring to the meetings of Russia and Ukraine delegations in Constantinople, thanked Tayyip Erdogan for hosting Turkey’s peacekeeping talks and for his efforts.
