Russia attacked Ukrainian cities through several combat unmanned aircraft and missiles, despite the ongoing peace efforts, on Thursday night. The Kyiv Independent, Ukrainian portal, informed on Thursday morning, TASR writes, referring to DPA.
According to the Ukrainian news agency RBC Ukraine, the explosions could be heard in Kiev and in the West Social City of Lviv. The agency quoted the military governor of the Lviv region Maxym Kozycký, who also stated that air defense was activated in the region.
Air alarm was announced in Kiev on Wednesday evening and drone attacks continued there during the night. Air defense was also deployed here.
The inhabitants were ordered to stay in shelters. There is no accurate information about victims or material damage yet.
The latest attacks come in the midst of the recent effort of US President Donald Trump to resolve the war in Ukraine.
