The Haag – the Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp has resigned in the dispute over possible sanctions against Israel. According to the Dutch news agency ANP, Veldkamp said on Friday evening after a cabinet session that he was unable to take “significant additional measures” to put pressure on Israel. The steps he demanded had been “seriously discussed”, but he came across resistance, emphasized Veldkamp.
