The US court denied Erik Menendez’s request for parole, one of the brothers accused of killing their own parents 35 years ago in the United States.
Bad behavior in prison and risk to society were the reasons that led the US court to keep the youngest of the two brothers arrested at least over the next three years.
The request for parole was made after the US court reduced the Prison sentences of the two perpetual arrest brothers to 50 years. The hearing took place this Thursday. It lasted 10 hours and was done by a VideoChamada.
The two brothers were sentenced 35 years ago for their parents’ own murder in the Rico de Beverlly Hills neighborhood of California. In court they claimed that they were victims of sexual abuse by the parent and who acted in self -defense.
