Arecebe registration until August 31 for the scientific scholarships of the José Reis program to encourage scientific journalism, aimed at training professionals able to publicize information about science and technology.
Undergraduate students and graduated professionals from any area, without employment, who have completed or are conducting an introduction course to scientific journalism with a minimum duration of 90 hours, can apply.
The value of the varies according to the formation of the candidate.

The scholarships have an initial duration of up to 12 months and can be renewed for another 12 months under exceptional conditions, and require full dedication. The candidate must present complete school history, curriculum summary, detailed journalistic research proposal and study program, among other documents.
The program supports proposals for journalistic research, provided that they have supervision of researchers or journalists with proven practice in scientific dissemination and bond with educational and research institutions of the State of São Paulo
The works should result in content that places scientific or technological projects in the national and international context, highlighting their scientific, technological, cultural, social and economic relevance.
The program honors pathologist José Reis (1907-2002), a pioneer of scientific journalism in Brazil.
