This is the third edition of the Mazovia Culture Festival encouraging to discover the wealth of our region.
– In the heart of Warsaw, cultural institutions from all over Mazovia, the heart of Poland, will present their offer. Regardless of age and interests, everyone will find something for themselves. It is worth looking and seeing how interesting and diverse Mazowsze is – invites Ludwik Rakowskichairman of the Mazovian regional council.
The Mazovia Culture Festival is a lot of attractions for participants of all ages.
– It will be a day full of special meetings. It is worth being there from 12. Then theater performances, illusion shows, handicraft, dance and folk work will begin – encourages the marshal Adam Struzik.
Regional cuisine workshops will be an attraction for gourmets. Artists of the Mazowsze band will conduct dance workshops, and the employees of the Museum of People’s Musical Instruments will come from Szydłowiec to present their exhibits. Other local government cultural institutions will also have their stands: the State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw, the Mazowieckie Institute of Culture and the Independence Museum, as well as the Country Housewife Clubs and Masovian people’s creators.
There will be artistic performances and shows. Brass federation, Ritmo Bloco and a school of fans will present in the multimedia fountain park. The Makata Plastic Theater will present the performance “The Wedding – Musical Chłopski” inspired by the “peasants” of Władysław Reymont. And from 17.30 Polish artists will perform on the festival stage: Faustyna Maciejczuk, Bovska, Rubens and legendary Suflera booth. Participation in the festival is free.
The event is organized by the local government of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
