The Prime Minister of India and the French president today discussed, Thursday, the efforts made to peace and her, New Delhi announced.
“I had a very good discussion with my friend, President Macron,” Monty said in a post on social media websites. “We have exchanged views on the efforts made with the aim of peaceful resolution of conflict in Ukraine and Western Asia” (Middle East), he added.
Macron referred to Washington’s recent meeting as well as the “Gaza situation”.
The two leaders also reiterated that they are committed to stepping up their strategic cooperation, at a time when India seeks to consolidate its links with other countries as its relations with the US are deteriorating.

The telephone communication between Monty and Macron took place at a time when India Foreign Minister Subrachmaniam Jaisankar met his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, with whom they discussed commercial issues.
