Israel's army knows that 5 out of 6 Palestinians killed were civilians: 83%, according to their data

to take it forcing the expulsion of one million already Palestinian refugees and with the UN warning that they will cause another slaughter of civilians with the second phase of the operation Gideon cars. This is the backdrop in which a new information has emerged that shows how the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) act against the Palestinians. They do it knowing perfectly that 5 out of 6 killed – eliminated or neutralized in their war argot – were civilly unrelated to Hamas or insurgency.

It is an exhaustive joint investigation carried out by the British newspaper the Israeli-Palestinian media and the publication newspaper in Hebrew . They have managed to access documents and figures contained in a confidential database of Israeli military intelligence that portray the results of a 19 -month military campaign of attacks and bombings since Hamas perpetrated the attacks on October 7, that is, until last May.

Of all the murders recorded, in that period, those of 53,000 Palestinians, only 8,900 are listed as Hamas fighters identified with the consideration of dead or “probably dead.” In other words, the same Israeli army that ensures that its attacks are selective and precision and that the Palestinian population is warned that they abandon a site before being bombarded, leaves a volume of bodies from which only 17% respond to their justifications to act against Islamic jihad. Or seen otherwise, 83% of all those deaths were civilians.

Israel’s army response and contradictions in the response

In this sense, and according to The Guardianafter contacting the Army of Israel, sources of this transfer that “the figures presented in the article are incorrect” and that those same figures “do not reflect the data available in the IDF systems.” However, there is a key factor in that communication with the British newspaper. Israel’s defense forces did not respond about the existence of that database of military intelligence, when they had implicitly recognized it, not questioning the existence of said base or those of the data themselves.

From the British newspaper they say that when they requested comments about the base and the data, a spokesman indicated that they had reformulated the answer. Nor did they respond to why this change, with respect to the other two media that also conducted the joint investigation. This database also has a list of 47,653 Palestinians considered militarily assets, which would be based on supposed internal documents confiscated to Hamas in Gaza.

As sources from that database have transferred to the aforementioned newspaper, it is not that this base exists and contains those numbers, it also works as the only authorized count, within the Israeli army, to account for the casualties of Militiamen de Hamás.

To the elderly of all this, another fact of interest is also revealed, in relation to the discredit that Israel performs about the Gazati authorities and pointing out that the figures of the Ministry of Health are inflated by the propaganda interest of Hamás -yet that external international organizations even raise them. According to Local CallIsrael’s army takes for good deaths of that ministry in the hands of Hamas. By the way, there were 52,928 until May, but today there are more than 62,000.

Yes, it is a very high figure, even in the world list of civilian killings

Beyond that evidence a number of bodies counted by tens of thousands, the truth is that there is a fact that portrays even more the fierce and violent that is being for the civilian population the plans of the Government of Benjamin Netanyahu on the Gaza Strip -and also in the occupied West Bank. The aforementioned media have come to the records of the (Sweden) to compare the mortality rate of civilians in the Gaza Strip with those of other international conflicts.

From the funesto ‘top 10’ of episodes of international killings, Gaza occupies fourth place with that rate of 83%. This classification leads the murders of Tutsis in Rwanda of 1994 (99.8%), followed by the siege of Mariúpol to which the Russian army submitted to the Ukrainian population in 2022 (95%) and the genocide of about eight thousand Muslim bosnians in Srebrenica, between 1992-1995 (92%).

“That proportion of civilians among the deceased would be unusually high, especially considering that it has been happening for so long,” said Therése Pettersson, one of the members of the Swedish University program, to the Guardian.
