Galicia | Several tens of people were evicted by two new fires in Pontevedra and one in Lugo
Three new fires have declared themselves in the last hours in Galicia, two in the province of Pontevedra and one in Lugo’s, which bind to those who have punished the province of Ourense for days, where they have burned in just two weeks more than 82,000 hectares. The one that affects the Pontevedrés municipality of Oia has forced to evict a camping, while the one that burns in Vilaboa has forced to evict 14 people. Both have been declared level 2, the maximum, as well as that declared in the Lucense municipality of Carballedo.
The two fires in Pontevedra began this Thursday afternoon. In the case of Oia, they have had to evict 45 people from a campsite located in Mougás, as reported by 112 Galicia. Meanwhile, in the fire of Santa Cristina de Cobres, in Vilaboa, 14 people from the place of Paradellas have been evicted. Rural Environment has also reported that it has been necessary to declare situation 2 in a fire that has been declared in the Lucense City of Carballedo, Parish of Cova, for its proximity to the nucleus of Oleiros.
In addition to these three fires, Galicia maintains in level 2 the entire province of Ourense, where the five active fires are concentrated that cover more land, about 80,000 hectares according to the latest estimates of the Xunta. (EFE)
