The City of Mâncio Lima held, on Thursday morning (21), a strategic meeting with the security forces to define the action plan during the V Festival of Coco, which takes place between September 12 and 14, at the Totão Stadium. The meeting was attended by the acting mayor, Andinho Lima, as well as representatives of the Military Police, Detran, 9th Ciretran, Fire Department and City Council.

Among the approved measures, it was established that access to the public will be performed only by the main gate, where there will be personal magazines. White weapons, firearms and objects that may represent risk in glass bottles are prohibited. Ticket with drink pouches will be allowed only after inspection.
To improve the flow of vehicles, the roads around the Totão stadium will work at one -way during the three days of the event. In addition to security, the meeting also dealt with the general organization of the festival, which will feature 30 beverage entrepreneurs, 30 food exhibitors, handicraft spaces and amusement park. In total, more than 200 people will be involved in the organization.
The acting mayor, Andinho Lima, stressed the importance of the union around the event. “This meeting demonstrates the seriousness with which we are treating the organization of the Coco Festival. We are preparing a great party for Mâncio Lima, but above all we want to ensure security, tranquility and joy for all who participate,” he said.
The festival’s program is already defined and features news, such as the Motocross competition, the fisherman party and the out -of -season carnival, which should attract revelers from all over the region. Among the confirmed national attractions are Viny Singer and the duo Danilo & Davi.
The commander of the Military Police in Mâncio Lima, St Gerson Martins, reinforced the corporation’s commitment. “We will have effective present in the three nights, supported by the 6th BPM, Rotam, Coe and Giro. Each night will be the same attention to ensure that the population enjoy with tranquility,” he said.
Already the municipal secretary of production, Edvaldo Barbosa, highlighted the relevance of joint work. “Security is critical to the success of the event. This integration between City Hall, Military Police, Firefighters, Detran and other bodies shows our commitment to hold a safe and well organized festival for the entire population and visitors,” he said.
