Potato pancakes with dill This is a definition of home -made taste and simplicity that impresses with its universality. Perfectly golden outside, soft and aromatic inside, are a great proposition for lunch or dinner for the whole family. The addition of dill introduces a refreshing, herbal accent.
Served with a blot of sour cream or natural yogurt, they will delight every lover of a simple, family kitchen. You will prepare the whole very quickly, and if you have a kitchen work, you can even say that in the blink of an eye.
- 650 g of potatoes,
- 1 onion,
- 2 eggs,
- 40 g of wheat flour,
- 1 handful of dill,
- ½ teaspoon salt,
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper.
Additionally:
Peel potatoes and onions. Grate the potatoes on a fine grater, and onions on large. You can also crush the vegetables with a kitchen work. Transfer them to a bowl and set aside for 10 minutes.
Strain as much liquid as you can do. If necessary, you can put the mass on a strainer and gently stir the liquid.
Add eggs, flour, salt and pepper to the mass. Mix the whole well.
Chop the dill finely and also add it to the potato dough. Mix briefly.
Heat the oil on medium-wystoky in a frying pan. It must be well warmed up before frying.
Apply a spoonful of mass on one cake, flattening it slightly. Fry potato pancakes with dill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are crunchy and golden brown.
Serve a hot dish, yourself or with the addition of natural yogurt or favorite garlic sauce.
