The Villanova University in Pennsylvania lived late terror by alleged campus shooter action. The report, however, was a “cruel scam”, according to the rector of the university, Reverend Peter M. Owner.
The rumor began to spread from sharing, on social networks, text message from the University’s Security Alert System. The alert ordered to lock room doors, barricate and warned for safe place.
The City Hall of Radnor, a city where the university is located, also advised, via post at X, that residents of the region were home to home. The city police also launched the same alert around 5:30 pm (Brasília time). Following, in the update, the police department stated that they searched in close buildings and guided the permanence in shelters.

After the police verification, the rector of the university stated, in an email sent to the university community, that “no one was injured.”
