Threatened with expulsion from, visited the president last Wednesday (20) at the palace of Alvorada and gave him several pairs of colorful socks.
Former Minister of Dilma Rousseff, one of the reasons why she is being ejected from her current party. Another reason was his recent defense of STF Minister Alexandre de Moraes, number 1 enemy of the pockets.
“The president is always very respectful of me and called me to a chat. How could I refuse?” Says the deputy. According to him, the conversation was about the electoral scenario in Sao Paulo.
The idea of giving colorful socks came from a meeting between the two in May, “I, whenever I am in a sporting event, I use socks with sports theme. The president saw and praised,” says the deputy.
The parliamentarian says he has not yet been officially notified by the PL about his expulsion, and intends to defend himself. “I want to first read the representation and understand exactly what I am being accused,” he says.
