Passengers suffering from Delirii tried to break into the cockpit of Easyjet plane, French city of Lyon to Portugal, Portugal, police and airline said on Saturday. The aircraft was forced to return to Lyon Airport, writes TASR based on AFP report.
The man was tamed by other passengers and, according to the French police, held him under control until the plane landed. The incident took place on Friday night.
Forced to return to Lyon
“The EJU4429 aircraft from Lyon to Porto returned to Lyon shortly after taking off because of the behavior of one of the passengers on board. After arriving the plane waited the police and after the passenger led out of the plane, he continued to the summer to Porto,” Easyjet said in its statement.
Police confirmed that it was a 26-year-old Portuguese citizen. Medical examination has shown that it suffers from air nausea and delirium. Was hospitalized in a French hospital.
