Rapporteur of criminal action against accused of attempted coup says that independent judiciary must contain autocrats
Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF) said on Friday that democracy was eliminated in several countries because of cowardice and impunity. He gave the last lecture of the 24th Business Forum Lides in Rio.
Moraes is the rapporteur of the opposite accused of attempted coup d’état on January 8, including the former president (PL). The trial will begin on September 2, 2025 in the 1st class of the STF.
