According to the Public Prosecution Service, Tagliaferro would have passed on to the press “confidential dialogues” in order to interfere with the “credibility and smoothness of investigations.” In August 2024, the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo released dialogues between servants of the Special Advisory to Confront the Disinformation (AEED), the TSE organ subordinate to the presidency of the Electoral Court. During the 2022 elections, the post was occupied by Moraes.
The messages noted that the advisory, then headed by Tagliaferro, was called to Munir Moraes inquiries in the STF. In a statement, the Moraes Office stated that, in the course of inquiries, he made requests to numerous organs, including the TSE. According to the magistrate, all actions were taken following the regimental terms.
