How to water orchids?
Watering orchids requires a special way because orchids are very exposed to root rot. The flower must be able to collect water from the air. Set the dish with water (preferably with rainfall or protruding with soft tap water) behind the pot – the plant will take as much water as it will need at the moment. With direct watering, remember to avoid completely immersing the roots in the water. And from time to time it is worth adding a few drops of lemon juice to the water. Lemon changes the water reaction to sour, and many species of orchid feels great in such an environment. Thanks to this, it releases new flower buds. In addition, such a mixture can be prepared for leaf shine. Water with lemon juice will facilitate the removal of dirt without excessive friction. This is extremely important because the leaves are easy to damage. In order for the flowers to be healthy, be careful not to outline the surface. Use the protruded water mixed with a few drops of lemon juice to shine orchid leaves. Wipe the leaves with cosmetic cotton swabs with such a mixture.

As for the place of flower setting, some varieties of orchids prefer semi -shaded positions, such as Phalaenopsis varieties, while others will grow better in full sun. In general, orchids are thermophilic flowers. Ideally, if we set them in a slightly shaded place and not lower than 22 ° C.
