The longest name in Poland (if we take into account really all of them) is Constantinople Gathomic. It has 31 letters, but of course no one is called that. It was artificially created, so it does not even appear in the official register.
It is rather a language curiosity, but there are real female names that also surprise with length. Currently, they are met sporadically, only among older women, but they used to be popular and were worn by many ladies.

And if we talk about real female names, the longest of them is Wierzchosław, consisting of 13 letters. There used to be so many princesses and nobles, but today only two Polish women wear them, and in 2024 it was not given at all.
Wierzchosław is an Old Polish name of an interesting sense. It has a prestigious character, because they are usually translated as the one “which is at the peak of fame”. It consists of the words “outer”, that is, the peak and “fame” – popularity/ fame. It fits people who like to be in the spotlight, occupy a high position and enjoy a good reputation.

A dozen or so Polish women wear them, but in 2024 no one gave it to his daughter. This is not surprising, because it is an archaic form, displaced by Alexander’s other name (also popular today).
