Tourist escaped its course and overturned a large highway in the west, and there are many, including children, the state police said.
There is at least one child among the dead, he added.
A police officer told reporters who rushed to the scene of the accident that some passengers were remaining trapped in the debris and that the rescue operation is ongoing. “There are many serious injuries and, as the police have just announced, many dead,” Mark Polecarca, a County County official, told X.
Some of the passengers were ejected by the vehicle when it was overthrown.
About 50 people were on the bus. Most of the passengers are Indians, Philippines or Chinese.
Police are in contact with the company to which the bus belongs.
The crash occurred in the 90 -year -old intercourse, which is part of the New York Motorway, at Ferrook, about 40 kilometers east of Buffalo. Many ambulances and helicopters have been in a hurry to transport the injured. Authorities closed the highway in both directions, causing huge traffic jams, starting one of the last weekends of summer vacations.
