A student trip leaves six drowned young people and 21 transferred to hospitals in Egypt

Six young people have died drowned in Alexandriain northern Egypt, during an organized journey of students, as reported by the Egyptian Ministry of Health.

The incident occurred this Saturday at the beach of Abú Tlatin the district of Religionin Alexandria, when the students of a flight academy spent the day on the beach, reports the state newspaper Egyptian ‘Al Ahram’.

A total of 16 ambulances were mobilized to the place by order of the Egyptian ambulance organization and the emergency sector and urgent care.

Three students were served in the place and another 21 were transferred to hospitals: Thirteen to the Specialties Hospital of Agami and eight to the General Hospital of Al Amriya. Those affected are being treated by suffocation.

The Minister of Health, Jaled amseferHe has reported that these cases are closely following, as well as the medical and emergency measures adopted. He also recalled the importance of complying with the safety recommendations on the beaches, especially during group trips.
