Mexican actress Gabriela Spanic, famous for the soap opera “The Usurper”, was denounced by physical aggression, threat, defamation and virtual persecution by former entrepreneur Suelen Monteiro of Amazonas. The complaint involves episodes during the artist’s passage through Brazil, between November and December 2024.

According to Suelen, the spanic contract was signed in November 2024, valid for one year. The businesswoman states that during this period she suffered physical aggression and was the subject of defamation and online persecution by the actress.
The police report was registered in March 2025, at the 22nd Integrated Police District in Manaus. The complaint only became public this Friday (22). THE g1 He sought the corporation to find out if the actress’s interrogation was marked, but got no response until the last update of the report.
The report also sought the advisory of Gabriela Spanic, who has not yet commented on the case.
According to Suelen Monteiro, she had left the Spanic team in 2023, but returned to work with the actress the following year after the actress reports financial difficulties. Under the contract, the businesswoman would be entitled to the commission on the closed work in Brazil.
Suelen said she left the actress’s team in 2023, but resumed work in 2024 after Spanic claims financial difficulties. The contract provided for commission payment for projects carried out in Brazil.
“I even assumed the costs of her trip, believing that it is a serious deal. I worked intensely to reposition your image and get contracts. But to this day, I have not received any value,” Suelen said.
The aggression would have occurred in December 2024 in a hotel in downtown São Paulo. Suelen says Spanic ingested three bottles of wine, argued with a friend by phone, and then physically assaulted her.
“She slapped my head two slaps on my face reaching my left eye, pulled my hair and glasses scratching me. Then she broke my glasses and threw them,” said the businesswoman.
The businesswoman said she was threatened by the actress, who would have used her fame to intimidate her.
“She said it was powerful, that it could arrest me in Brazil, Mexico or the United States if I told what had happened. It also threatened to end my career,” he said.
The day after the aggression, Suelen returned to Manaus, but did not tell her family for fear of reprisals. In January, he informed the actress that he would end the partnership. The contract was terminated two days later. During this period, Suelen says she discovered another case involving Spanic.
“Since then I suffered virtual persecution, my family data exhibition and public defamation. She tried to reverse the facts. I contacted people who confirmed me that another accusation made by her was false,” Suelen said.
