The team, formed by Duda Arakaki, Maria Paula Caminha, Mariana Gonçalves, Sofia Pereira and Nicole Pircio, took a choreography to the sound of the classic “Evidence”, from Chitãozinho and Xororó, in the mixed dispute of 3 balls and 2 arches, and received the note of 28,550. The presentation excited the audience at the Carioca 1 Arena, with applause and some thrilled gymnasts to tears.

The Brazilian women had to wait for the presentation of the other teams to confirm the placement on the podium. The silver medal was only behind Ukraine, which added 28,650 points, and ahead of Japan and Spain, which won the bronze with 28,200. The result represents the best performance in Brazil in the history of the World Cup in disputes, surpassing the 6th place obtained in the 2023 edition in Spain.

During the competition, Japan and Spain tried to resort to the notes, but the funds were rejected. Hungary, with honor of Brazilian football, and Israel completed the presentations, without threatening the Brazilian position.

The conquest consolidates Brazil as an emerging power in rhythmic gymnastics, with a set that combines technique, expressiveness and ability to thrill the public.
