Motorcyclist Welme Luan Cavalcante de Souza, 37, was serious after losing control of the motorcycle and hitting the central flowerbed at dawn on Sunday (24), on Avenida Amadeo Barbosa, in the Canaan neighborhood, region of the second district of Rio Branco.
According to witnesses, Welme was driving in a center-central direction on a black-colored Titan motorcycle and SQR-7H21 license plate, when he unexpectedly collided against the curb and was thrown against one of the Palmeiras of the central flowerbed.

With the impact, the helmet – which was not buckled – left the victim’s head, and the crash caused a severe trauma trauma.
Popular people passing by the site provided initial help and triggered traffic policing and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). A basic support ambulance performed the first calls, followed by an advanced support unit, which had to cling to the victim still at the scene.

Due to the severity of the fall and the fact that he is allegedly drunk, the motorcyclist failed to communicate with the medical team. He was immobilized and sent to the Rio Branco Emergency Room, where he was entered in serious condition.

The motorcycle was under the responsibility of a garrison of the Military Police Traffic Battalion, which isolated the area for the work of the expertise. After the usual procedures, the vehicle was removed by a winch and taken to the State Traffic Department courtyard (Detran).
