Israel bombed the outskirts of the city of Gaza at dawn on Sunday, 25, destroying more buildings and houses in the region devastated by almost two years of war.
Tel Aviv’s attacks in the last 24 hours have killed 63 people, the territory Ministry of Health, controlled by the terrorist group Hamas, said.
This Saturday, Al Jazeera Arabic obtained images showing the Israeli advance in the neighborhood of Sabra, in the city of Gaza. The region is close to Zeiren, which has been increasingly targeted by the Israeli army.

A source from Al-Ahli Hospital stressed that a child died in the last Israel bombing in Sabra. Other doctors also confirmed the death of 16 people sheltered in northwestern Khan Younis and 22 Palestinians looking for humanitarian aid in the southeastern region.
According to the portfolio, there are still people under the rubble, as well as malnutrition deaths in hospitals and gunfire in the food distribution centers that have become routine in the Gaza Strip, according to local reports.
Witnesses say they heard uninterrupted explosions at night in the neighborhoods of ZeiToun and Shejaia, in the city of Gaza, while tanks bombed houses and streets in the neighboring neighborhood of Sabra and several buildings were destroyed in the city of Jabalia -all places in northern Gaza, the region most affected by the humanitarian catastrophe imposed on the territory.

Tel Aviv says he had resumed the bombing in the Jabalia area to dismantle tunnels and strengthen control of the area, and stated that the operation “allows the expansion of combat to additional areas and prevents Hamas terrorists from operating in these areas.”
The offensive occurs after Israel approves a plan to take the city of Gaza, home to half of the more than 2 million inhabitants of the territory, and as a ceasefire plan already accepted by Hamas awaits Israel’s approval.
The initiative is criticized from various fronts -from humanitarian organizations, which fear for the civilian population, from the international community, including some of the main allies of the Jewish state, and even part of the Israeli population, which fears for the life of Hamas hosted by Hamas in the October 7 attacks, which began war, and still remain in Gaza.

According to reports made to the Israeli press earlier this month, when the plan was approved, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was warned even by army chief Eyal Zamir, that the town of Gaza would put the life of hostages at risk.
Israel’s Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, promised on Sunday to proceed with the offensive and said that the city of Gaza will be devastated unless Hamas agrees to end the war under Israel and free all hostages.
The terrorist group, in turn, stated in a statement that the plan demonstrates that Israel does not seriously take a ceasefire, “the only way to return hostages,” according to the faction, which holds Netanyahu for the abduction’s lives.

The proposal under discussion provides for a 60 -day truce, the release of 10 living hostages held in Gaza and the return of 18 bodies. Already Israel would release about 200 Palestinian prisoners who have been serving a long time and have been in their custody. Once the ceasefire began, both sides would start negotiations for a permanent truce, which would include the return of the remaining hostages.
The bombings made thousands of people again move from the city of Gaza, carrying their belongings in vehicles and Riquixás, while others say they have given up running away. According to the UN, virtually the entire population of the territory has already moved due to attacks, a few dozen times.
“I stopped telling the times that I had to take my wife and three daughters to leave my house in the city of Gaza,” Mohammad, 40, told Reuters news agency. “Nowhere is safe, but I can’t risk. If they start the invasion suddenly, they will use heavy fire.”

Already Aya, 31, who has a family of eight, said he won’t leave. “Let us bombard us at home,” he said, adding that he would not have money to buy a tent or pay for transportation, even if they tried to leave. “We are hungry, fear and without money.”
A global hunger monitoring group said on Friday (22) that the city of Gaza and neighboring areas are officially suffering from hunger, which will probably spread throughout the rest of the territory. Israel, which limits the arrival of humanitarian aid in the territory since the beginning of the conflict, rejects the evaluation.
According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, eight more people died of malnutrition and hunger in Gaza, raising the number of deaths from these causes to 289 people, including 115 children since the beginning of the war. Israel also disputes death numbers.
