Oldo Hlaváček was born on January 26, 1934 in Bratislava. He gathered his first experience on the folk scene of the city of Žilina, where he also completed his studies at the Pedagogical Grammar School. He then joined the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, which he graduated from the character of Arlechin in the game Widowed Widow. TRUFFALDINA – The servant of two gentlemen played in Prešov. From there he moved to his hometown, where he worked in the SND.

He wrote a number of radio and television programs and played in them. In 1973, the Czech Literary Fund awarded him an excellent cooperation in the production of television entertainment programs.
