United States President Donald Trump appeared wearing a thick layer of makeup in his right hand. Photos of an event in Washington on Friday (22) reveal the American using what appears to be based on a tone lighter than his skin. On the same day, in a meeting with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Trump again appeared with his hands covered.
This is not the first time Trump has tried to disguise the appearance of the hand with heavy makeup. In July, base use, in addition to the swollen appearance of ankles, generated speculation about the health of the US president. This caused the White House to disclose the diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency.
As Estadão showed, it is a condition in which the veins, usually from the lower limbs, have difficulty returning blood to the heart, resulting in increased venous pressure.

The condition may occur due to venous valve dysfunction, vein expansion (varicose veins) or obstructions, factors that compromise venous return.
Signs and symptoms vary according to gravity. They may include weight sensation or tiredness in the legs; swelling (edema), especially at the end of the day and ankle; varicose veins; cramps; Darkening of the skin (hyperpigmentation) in the ankle region; Skin hardening and in advanced cases presence of wounds (venous ulcers).
According to the White House statement in July, Trump underwent different exams. Government spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said that “no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease was found.”

According to her, all exams “are within normal boundaries”, with no signs of heart, renal or systemic disease.
Leavitt also commented on the occurrence of bruises in the hands of the US President. She said they are due to “a slight irritation of the soft tissues caused by frequent handshakes and aspirin use.”
