Last Sunday, August 24, the New Aliança Church Church, in partnership with the Longão Elite Association, held the 3rd edition of the Good Race, consolidating itself as one of the main events that unite sports and solidarity in the Acre capital.
The start occurred at 5am, with the participation of 600 registered runners. Unlike other events, the Good Race does not charge registration fee: Each athlete guarantees his participation by donating 3 kg of non -perishable food and contributing to the shared coffee on the day of the race, promoting a strong community feeling among participants.
With this dynamic, the organization has expected to collect 1.8 tons of food, which will be destined to families assisted by the Purus Project, a social initiative that supports vulnerable communities.
The event also had the presence and support of the Fire Department, which was next to the corridors ensuring safety and support throughout the course.

The 3rd Good Race was considered a total success, reinforcing the role of the New Aliança Church Church and the Elite Longon Association in promoting activities that unite faith, sport and solidarity for the benefit of the Acre community.
