STF authorized Rogério Marinho, Valdemar Costa Neto and other allies to visit the former presidential president
Minister Alexandre de Moraes, from (Supreme Federal Court), authorized new visits to the former president (PL) in Brasilia.
Among the authorized are politicians and allies close to the former executive chief. Visits are limited to time from 10am to 6pm and follow rules established by the Supreme, such as the prohibition of the use of cell phones.

About Costa Neto’s visit, the request came from Bolsonaro’s own defense. On August 7, the lawyers asked the Supreme Court to be released visits from people considered “Indispensable to both your health and physical integrity”indicating, among the names, the president of PL. Read A (PDF – 119 KB).
According to the Supreme Court, the requests for visits are still analyzed by the order of arrival and each authorization depends on the minister’s individual decision.

Released medical visits
Moraes authorized the former president to receive visits from 4 doctors while undergoing house arrest. Read A (PDF – 118 KB).
According to the minister, the visits can be made no notice needprovided that the legal and judicial conditions already imposed. Authorized doctors are:
- Claudio Augusto Vianna Birolini (surgeon);
- Luciana de Almeida Costa Tokarski (Dr. Erasmo Tokarski Clinic);
- Erasmo Tokarski (dermatologist);
- Leandro Santini Echenique (cardiologist).
