Two new fires in León complicate the fight against fire despite the improvement of the situation
Spain dawns this Monday with very high levels of risk of new fires, although, although it has improved control of the situation in communities such as Galicia, there are active two new fires in León – it is feared that caused – who have forced 300 people to evacuate. Also in Galicia a new fire was declared on Sunday, by plane (Lugo). In total, 13 large fires are still active in Ourense, León, Zamora and Asturias.
Galicia
Along with Avión, remains active Los Fuegos de Chandrexa de Complaint, which favorably evolves by Solo Focus for stabilizing (Vilariño de Cons), Y El de Carballeda de Valdeorras-Casaio, both en iense.
Castilla y León
In León, two new fires in the towns of Garaño and Molinaseca as well as the reactivation of the Fasgar fire put the negative note on Sunday to a “positive” day in general terms. Even so, 12 populations evicted with 716 evacuated people remain evicted. A total of seven level 2 fires remain active in Castilla y León, according to the last update of the Board: Fasgar, La Baña, Colinas del Campo de Martín Moro, Garaño and Molinaseca in León; that of Porto in Zamora, and that of Cardaño de Arriba in Palencia. There are 11 other active levels of level 1.
Asturias
Sunday was a favorable day for the extinction of the three active fires of level 2 in Asturias, those of Degaña, Somiedo and Cangas del Narcea. The Ponga and Cabrales are stabilized. It is concerned, however, the advancement of the fire of Anllares del Sil (León) towards the Principality, specifically towards the Asturian municipality of Ibias. (EFE)
