The parade, which began with representations of Tuaregs and Zulus, toured the mouth of the Douro, culminating in the usual bath on Ourigo Beach. The event stood out for the cultural diversity represented and the craft work of the participants.
This year has fulfilled, once again, tradition. Integrated at the States of S. Bartolomeu, Porto’s paper costume procession ended, as always, with a bath in the sea.
Between Tuaregs and Zulus, this year’s procession was opened. The trip around the world passed through Foz do Douro, with St. Bartolomeu guiding all the other steps that followed.
To death no one escapes, but there are some that arrive earlier than expected.
Cleaning is literally around the corner, but first we have to give voice to those who did all this work.
