The company canceled a megafoguete test flight on Sunday, the latest setback to the launch vehicle after recent attempts ended in explosions. The launch would start from the American state of Texas at 11:30 pm GMT (8:30 pm GMT). Fifteen minutes earlier, Spacex canceled the operation. “The tenth flight of Starship is discarded to give time to solve a problem in land systems,” the company said on the social network X.

The largest and most powerful launch vehicle in history was built with the aim of bringing Americans back to the moon and is essential to realize the dream of – owner of Spacex and richest person in the world – to colonize Mars. However, repeated explosions, which spread wreckage on the Caribbean islands and interrupted flights in recent months, have increased the pressure on Spacex by performing a free setback test.

According to the blockade of roads foreseen on the outskirts of Starbase, the tenth flight of the Starship could happen tomorrow or later. The company did not give information.
