“If Wes Moore needs help, as Gavin Newsom needed in Los Angeles, I will send the troops,” said the US president
United States President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he would send the National Guard to Baltimore to “quickly clean it from the crime,” if the governor of Maryland, Wes Moore, confirms that he needs help.
Previously, Moore had invited the Republican to participate in a public security walk in the city, arguing that it would be an opportunity to “discuss strategies for an effective public security policy.”
In response today, through post on the Truth social network, Trump said he found the tone of the “quite unpleasant and provocative” invitation.
