Brazil ended the Pan American Games Junior 2025, played in Asuncion, with 70 gold, 50 silver and 55 bronzes, a total of 175 medals. The country hit its podium record and led the competition medal board, which receives athletes up to 23 years old.

In the first edition of the event, held in Cali, Colombia, in 2021, Brazil rose to the podium 164 times.

With the result in the capital of Paraguayan, the country has gained 48 direct vacancies for the adult PAN, which will be held in Lima, Peru, in 2027.

Swimming and judo were the modalities with the most victories for the Brazilian delegation.

“In all items of the goal, we improved the results of Cali. We exceeded the number of golds, the number of vacancies by athletes and vacancies per modality for the PAN de Lima 2027. This was a very important goal, because the PAN of 27 will distribute vacancies to the Los Angeles Olympic Games,” said the president of COB (Olympic Committee of Brazil), Marco La Porta.
