The Airbnb seasons rental platform informed Pará authorities that the average rate of daily rates for the period from, 22% of the peak reached in February to August. Regarding July, the reduction was 9%.

The news is a breath to the organizers of the meeting amid the charges of people interested in following the climate conference in November. Several countries have requested the change of event site.

Three factors are pointed out as responsible for reducing values: losses for the international image of Belém, which sensitized owners; Estrupting of uncharged real estate because of high prices; and actions against abuse by bodies such as Procon, Civil Police and Public Prosecution Service.
