Botafogo faces Vasco on Wednesday (08/27), at 9:30 pm (Brasília), for the quarterfinals game of the Brazilian Cup. The duel will be in São Januário, in Rio de Janeiro, and will be broadcast by Globo, SporTV, Premiere and Prime Video.
Botafogo entered the third phase of the Brazilian Cup. The team won from Capital-DF and then hit Red Bull Bragantino to qualify.
Vasco, on the other hand, entered the first phase, taking União Rondonópolis, Nova Iguaçu, Opeário-PR and CSA to secure a place in the quarterfinals.
Botafogo lineup against Vasco
Coach Davide Ancelotti should make changes compared to the team he has earned from the youth 3-1 by the Brasileirão. In midfield, Danilo and Savarino should return to the initial eleven in the places of Newton and Correa, respectively. In the attack, Arthur assumes Jeffinho’s position.
Chris Ramos, who stole the scene in his stove debut, scoring two goals against the youth, should start once again in the bench, being an option for the second stage, as the athlete has not worked since April.
