Criminal Expert Eduardo Tagliaferro is in Italy, and it is expected that he will participate for the conference of the meeting of the collegiate chaired by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ)
The Senate Public Security Commission approved on Tuesday (26) request for the invitation of criminal expert Eduardo Tagliaferro, who was head of the advisory to combat the disinformation, to give testimony about the operation of the minister’s office when it presided over the Electoral Court. In addition to Tagliaferro, the senators invited magistrates Marco Antonio Martins Vargas, former Moraes Assistant Judge, and Airton Vieira, who was minister and right-hand man for six years. Another guest was journalist Michael Shellenberger, who is responsible for the publication of the report “Archives of the January 8: inside the secret judicial task force for mass arrests.”
The document produced by Shellenberger was used as a justification for the invitation of former Moraes Office employees. The report brings together messages leaked between Tagliaferro and Vieira and other documents about Moraes’s performance and tries to demonstrate a direction of the minister against pockets. The hearing to listen to Tagliaferro and the others are scheduled for September 2, the same day of the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and seven for an attempt to coup in the first class of the Supreme Court (STF).
Tagliaferro is in Italy, and it is expected that he will participate for the conference of the meeting of the collegiate chaired by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ). Last week, Moraes asked for the extradition of the expert. Unlike the call, the invitation to participate in committee is not imposing, so it is possible for guests to decline and not attend. The alternative in this case would be the presentation of a call application.
The leak of conversations between Tagliaferro and Vieira caused a stampede in the magistrate’s advisory. The minister’s team remains embezzled more than eight months after the start of the changes. These dispensations did what the minister’s support judges in conducting their more than 2,700 cases went from four to one within three months.
