This Monday, 25, the City Hall of Cruzeiro do Sul, through the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism, began the delivery of the plates of the Creative Parking Program, intended for residents who will make their spaces available for the parking of vehicles and motorcycles during the Flour Festival. The event was attended by Mayor Zequinha Lima, who also took the opportunity to inspect the preparations.

During the delivery, the mayor stressed the importance of parking for the organization of the festival. “We are delivering signs to residents who will offer their spaces, 20 residents around the complex, with options for motorcycles and cars, in addition to the four large parking lots available. I believe we will not have problems with parking, because we will have capacity for over 1000 cars and 1,500 bikes. There will also be reserved areas for public transport and transport applications,” said Zequinha Lima.
The secretary of the folder Janaína Terças highlighted the positive impact of the project on the community. “Creative parking is fundamental because it will allow more vehicles to be accommodated in the complex, while generating income for local families. This program reflects Mayor Zequinha Lima’s view of boosting the Southern Cruise economy, offering new income generation opportunities. So far, 20 residents have registered to participate,” he said.

Jonas Lima, Secretary of Transport, Traffic and Urban Mobility, emphasized the guidance measures for residents. “The creative parking will allow people to use their land to serve visitors to the eighth Flour Festival. We are providing signage and guidance to ensure efficient service to the population,” he said.
André Luiz, a resident of Velho Airport for 18 years, praised the initiative and mentioned that his home will have a capacity of 350 motorcycles per night. “It is an excellent idea that values the region and promotes income among residents. Undoubtedly, it is a positive action, and we are ready to receive visitors the place here is all surrounded and monitored, so there will be no problem,” he concluded.

The value of the parking lot is R $ 10,00 for motorcycles and R $ 20,00 cars.
