Demonstrators came to the streets of Tel Aviv on Tuesday morning, demanding the end of the war in the Gaza Strip and the release of the hostages, which the Hamas militant movement is detained in the Palestinian enclave. These gatherings were held before the planned meeting of the Israeli Security Cabinet, reports TASR according to the AFP report.
According to AFP journalists, people blocked roads in Tel Aviv, waved with Israeli flags and held hostage photos. The Israeli media reported that people also gathered near the US Embassy branch in this city, as well as in front of the houses of various ministers across the country.
Hostage Release Request Request
“We ask our leaders to sit behind the negotiating table and get up from it until the agreement is happening,” said Hagit Chen, whose son was captured by militants in October 2023.
In the meantime, The Times of Israel reported that all roads are passable after the morning protests.
Negotiations on the ceasefire
AFP explains that it is not known what the security cabinet will negotiate, but the local media claim that discussions may concern the renewed negotiations on the ceasefire and the hostage release agreements.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered immediate talks aimed at ensuring the release of the remaining hostages. At the same time, according to AFP, he hardened the plans for a new offensive to occupy the largest city in the Palestinian enclave. The Ministry of Defense also took the profession of approximately 60,000 midfielder.
Last Monday, the Hamas source said that the movement agreed to the proposal of a ceasefire that counts on a 60-day interruption of the fighting and the phase release of Israeli hostages, as well as several Palestinians imprisoned in Israel.
Israeli Defense Minister Jisrael KAC said on Friday that if Hamas does not agree to disarming, the release of all the remaining hostages and the end of the war according to the conditions of Israel, the city of Gaza will be destroyed.
