Did you think you had a room with betting this year? A maximum of two fruit trees, maybe a little onion? But the strawberries really ask for attention right now. “That’s right,” says Jana Bucharová, expert of the magazine Recipe for garden themes. “In the autumn, strawberry seedlings are more likely to sell strawberry companies and have several advantages.”
Free roots
The joke is that, unlike spring, you will not find a comfortable box with six, ten or twelve seedlings settled nicely, but only at first glance a few leaves and free roots. “Just as bare trees are sold, you can buy specialized rooted seedlings of strawberries from specialized companies,” confirms the expert. Just look at their website or get to them on the specified days.
A little care, a great crop
The bare seedlings will need two things from you. First, you have to plant them right away. “They are pulled straight from the field, so they have beautiful root bales and are actually sold only in bags, describes Jana Bucharová. You must not wait a few days with their betting, otherwise they would dry. To buy them ideally, you can play the day when you can sit in the prepared flowerbed or strawberry in the afternoon.
And the second necessity is a potential watering. At the end of August or early September, it is necessary to look at the strawberries. “Of course, if it is dry and warm autumn in recent years, then beautifully rooted,” adds the expert. “And they will bring a really good crop in the spring.”
