The Acre Civil Police, through the Specialized Police Station for Women’s Assistance (Deam), served, last Monday (25), a warrant of pre-trial detention against RFL, investigated for threat crimes and bodily injury against his current companion.

The suspect had already been convicted of femicide in 2015 and was currently serving a semi -open sentence with electronic monitoring. Despite the criminal history, he was once again investigated after complaints of domestic violence.
The arrest was authorized by the judiciary from the representation of the duty delegate responsible for the case. After being arrested, the investigated was questioned and remains available to the court.
The Civil Police stressed that it maintains permanent performance in combating violence against women, highlighting the commitment to protect the victims and hold the aggressors responsible.
