Technical Director of Sebrae-SP, Marco Vinholi is launching the book “New Regionalization of-Governance, Participation and Financing”, which defends a new administrative provision of the State of São Paulo, taking into account the characteristics of municipalities and regions.
The autograph session takes place this Tuesday (26) from 18h to 22h at the bookstore Travessa of Shopping Iguatemi (Av. Brigadeiro Faria Lima, 2,232), in São Paulo.
Former state secretary of regional development and former state deputy by PSDB, Vinholi says that the thesis defended in the book is a kind of update of “municipalism” ended by former governor Franco Montoro (1983-87), indicating that the daily life of a population occurs in regional context.
“I propose the administrative and political reorganization of the São Paulo territory, so that the peculiarities, identities and vocations of cities are respected, there is long -term planning, governance with the presence of the state and civil society, as well as financing for regional projects,” he says.
The book, by the Ex-Libris Integrated Communication Publishing House, has prefaces by Federal Deputy Arnaldo Jardim (Citizenship-SP) and the president of the Paulista Association of Municipalities (APM), Fred Guidoni. With 143 pages, it is based on the thesis that the author defended in the master’s degree in public management at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
