Who is Sonay Kall?
Sonay Kartal is a British tennis player born on October 28, 2001, in Sidcup, London, and created in Brighton, where he still lives and trains. Daughter of Turkish father, he carries in his identity the cultural heritage that also inspires part of his tattoos. Although not so high, the athlete pays off with speed, determination and an aggressive style of play.
Kartal plays with his right hand and uses the two -handed backhand, but his strongest blow is Forehand. She feels more comfortable on quick courts, where she can explore her power and movement well.
The athlete started playing tennis at age 6 at Pavilion & Avenue Tennis Club in Hove, and was closely monitored by coach Julie Hobbs, who became a key figure in her career.
As a child, he thought of giving up the sport after the first training, but was convinced to continue and today is one of the main representatives of British tennis. In addition to hobbs, currently also works with Ben Reeves on his technical team.
