Tomás Palacios’s suit
Revealed by Argentina’s Talleres, Tomás Palacios began to draw attention in South America from the grassroots categories. To gain experience, he was loaned to Independiente Rivadavia, also from Argentine football, before going to European football.
In August 2024, Palacios was acquired by Inter Milan. However, there, the defender had few opportunities: he played only three official matches before being loaned again, this time to Monza, another team of the Italian first division.
After the loan, the defender returned to Inter, but continued without space in the main team. The last record by the team was as alternate in the 5-0 win over Torino last Monday (25).

Santos planning for the season
With the arrival of Palacios, Santos begins a new cycle under the command of Vojvoda. The board signaled that the club is active in the market and works to hire further reinforcements before the transfer window ended in early September.
The cast is expected to be complete for the decisive sequence of the season. In addition to the reinforcements, the technician should meet with some group players who have been criticized by the fans and may have the future discussed in the coming days.
Neymar’s situation is not worrying, according to the press. Since Saturday (23), information began to circulate that the player would have felt pain in his thigh and, after examinations, a small edema was detected.
The player then began intensive treatment with the objective of being in a position to be summoned by Carlo Ancelotti for the last two games of the Brazilian team in the qualifiers, which did not happen.
Nevertheless, neither the Santos nor the team that manages the player’s career wanted to speak openly on the subject. On Sunday (24), after the fish departure of which Neymar was suspended, assistant coach Matheus Bachi was asked about the possible injury, but preferred to direct the question to the medical department.
Already the club recommended that any information be requested from NR Sports, the company responsible for the career of the player, who, in turn, claimed not to follow the daily life of training and returned the responsibility to Santos.
According to journalist Diogo Dantas, from O Globo newspaper, Neymar’s situation is not worrying. Thus, the fish captain is physically fit for the next commitments.
