The incident probably occurred on Sunday morning. Kiev on Saturday evening attacked the oil and gas terminal in the Russian city of Ust-Luga near the Estonian border.

The Ukrainian battle drone came out of the course and exploded over Estonia without requiring the incident to any victims, the Baltic State authorities said on Tuesday. Margo Palloson, CEO of the Estonian internal security service (ISS), said that the incident probably occurred on Sunday morning, TASR reports according to DPA report.

This is the first such incident in the country

“It was a Ukrainian drone that attacked Russian goals. There is no evidence that it was a Russian drone,” Palloson told Estonian Radio Err. According to radio reports, this was the first such incident in the country.

Kiev on Saturday evening attacked the oil and gas terminal in the Russian city of Ust-Luga near the Estonian border. Palloson explained that on Monday a farmer in the Estonian district of Tarta found a wreckage drone in the field and a clearly visible crater after the explosion.

Pevkur: Drone hit Estonia because Russia continues the war and Kiev is defending itself

The drone was probably incorrectly navigated by Russian electronic devices, DPA said. It is not clear whether it has arrived from the Latvian or Russian airspace.

Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said that the drone was hit by Estonia because Russia continues to war against Ukraine and Kiev is defending itself.

DPA recalls that in recent months Russian drones have entered the airspace of Poland, Lithuania or Latvia through Belarus. Similar cases have also occurred in Romania and Moldova.
