‘I declined all advertising; At this point, we have to talk about something that is more important, ‘said the influencer
He revealed that he had the worst financial month of his career as a digital influencer after the complaints he made in the Video Adultization, published in early August. In an interview, aired on the Conversation with Bial program at dawn on Wednesday (27), he explained why he was out of money. “I am an influencer. Most of my income comes from advertising. In the meantime, in these two weeks, I lost, refused or declined all the advertising that came to me. So this month, I had no income. For the business it was not good,” Felca admitted to the consequences of the complaints about abuse of children and adolescents on social networks.
“A minute of silence”
“I declined all the advertising. It was almost ‘a minute of silence.’ At that moment, we have to talk about something that is more important. I don’t want to go and appear saying ‘buy such, do such a thing.’
Felca’s attitude was praised by the presenter. “It’s the difference of what has value and what is price, right? This is priceless, has value,” said Bial.
“It was the family itself behind”
In the same interview, Felca also mentioned the case that most shocked him throughout the investigation for video adultization, a work that took more than a year. A mother who, she said, “used the image of her minor daughter to raise and market content on private platforms. It was the family behind the sexualization of the child.”
Monetization of the video will be donated
Felca’s video has already reached 48 million views and, according to accounts made by the report, could yield to half a million reais to the influencer alone.
However, Felca made it clear in her own video that she will donate all the money she receives from YouTube. Video income will be intended for institutions that help children victims of abuse. Among the institutions appointed by Youtuber are Childhood, Liberta Institute, SOS Brazil Villages, I protect myself and the ABRINQ Foundation for the Rights of Children and Adolescents.
